OSHA Seminar for Connecticut Contractors

Every day we hear of another construction site being visited by an OSHA inspector……all to review OSHA logs and data!   It appears this is number one on OSHA’s radar screen and could end up costing Connecticut contractors big bucks!

 osha seminar

Date: May 5, 2011

Registration: 8:30 a.m.  Seminar: 9:00-12:00 p.m.

Presenter:  Adam Drummond, National Safety Services

Location: TIMEXPO-The Timex Museum, 175 Union Street, Waterbury, CT

Are you filling out your OSHA forms correctly following accidents?

The two areas on the OSHA logs that it appears are being targeted are the Location and the Injury Description.

“Job #C0123 - broken ring finger” is no longer enough information.  Specific locations and details of what happened are going to be required.  For example, “2nd floor of condo building, unit 22A, kitchen.  Employee was securing light fixture in ceiling when slipped out of hand, striking and breaking finger.”

These logs are one of OSHA’s current “targets.”  Please join us for our upcoming seminar with Adam Drummond of National Safety Services to learn what you should do to avoid getting fined!
